What is it?
Planet Builder is a focus timer. It just turns your time into something you can look at.
You press start and a planet is there, in orbit, right in front of you. While the timer runs it is building: oceans rise, vegetation spreads across the continents, and the night side lights up one pixel at a time. However long you focus is how far it gets.
The same time also settles into stardust. Stardust does not feed the planet. It buys new star cores, and every core opens a new world with a character of its own.
It never nags you, and there is no streak to protect. Skip a day and the planet simply waits. Next time you come back, it picks up exactly where you left it.
A three step loop
Simple rules. Putting the phone down is the hard part.
Focus
Set a length and put the phone down. While the timer runs your planet keeps building, and stardust flows into your system.
Collect stardust
Everything settles the moment the session ends. The progress stays on the planet, the stardust goes in your pocket. Breaking early still pays, but a full run pays best.
Pull a star core
Stardust buys new star cores. Each core decides the character of your next planet, and that is how the map grows.

A galaxy that belongs to no one else
Watch a world evolve
Bare rock to ocean, vegetation, life, and finally city lights on the night side. The terrain is generated from the time you focus, not a swapped picture.
Pull star cores
Life, wasteland, frost, molten, heavy, aberration. Six cores decide a planet's character, and a random seed makes sure no two ever look alike.
Bring companions home
A fully grown planet can house a companion. They keep their own routines and moods, and they sit quietly with you while you focus.
Fill the Stellar Archive
Any planet you raise to 100% is recorded forever. Tear the system down later and the record still stands.
Visit a friend's system
Drop by someone else's galaxy, see where they have been spending their time, and leave a signal behind.
Start over anytime
Feed a crowded system to the black hole, or trigger a supernova and rebuild from nothing. Your archive survives either way.

FAQ
Does it cost anything? +
No. Planet Builder is built into OXO Game Launcher and free to play.
Do I have to keep the app open? +
The focus timer keeps running in the background. The progress and stardust for that time are added when you come back.
What if I get interrupted? +
The time you already focused still counts toward both progress and stardust. You only miss the bonus for finishing a full run.
